We trade our own capital. Nothing else.

Defam AG is a Swiss-incorporated self-trading firm. We deploy our own capital across global markets through a combination of discretionary expertise and algorithmic strategies. The trading desk and the capital are the same legal entity.

We do not pool, accept, manage, advise on, or otherwise handle external client money. There is no fund vehicle, no managed account program, and no introducing-broker arrangement that would involve third-party capital.

Because Defam AG does not accept or manage external client assets, the firm is not a regulated financial intermediary under Swiss FinIA, FinSA, or equivalent foreign client-asset regulations. The activity is the trading of own capital, which is not, in itself, a regulated client-facing activity.

If, in the future, the firm were to take on activities that require authorisation, we would seek the appropriate licence first. That is not the current business.

Articles, broker reviews, education curricula and signal methodology described on this website are practitioner notes. They describe how the trading desk operates internally.

Nothing on this site is an offer, a recommendation, an invitation to invest, or investment advice. Nothing on this site should be relied on as the basis for a trading decision.

This website also functions as a public-facing disclosure for the firm's banking and counterparty relationships. The trading entity pays its operating expenses, taxes and personnel costs out of its own trading P&L. There is no external investor cash flow.

Trading financial instruments carries the risk of substantial loss. The fact that we trade our own capital and run a disciplined risk framework does not eliminate that risk and is not a guarantee of future results.
